Comprehensive Psychological Assessment

What to Expect 

Comprehensive psychological assessments identify behavioral, social-emotional, or developmental concerns. A psychological assessment may include:  

  • Review of developmental, medical, behavioral, and family history

  • Assessment of cognitive abilities using comprehensive, standardized measures (including verbal and nonverbal abilities, working memory, and processing speed)

  • Assessment of executive functioning  skills, including attention, self-inhibition, flexible thinking, task initiation, and self-monitoring

  • Assessment of emotional functioning and personality traits 

  • Assessment of social and adaptive skills
