How do I make an appointment?
You can contact Dr. Pentzien by email at cassandrapentzien@pentzienpsych.com or by completing the contact form. After reaching out, you will be contacted by email about setting up a 15 minute phone consultation to assess your testing needs and schedule your intake appointment.
How should I prepare for my appointment?

Complete all intake paperwork before the scheduled appointment.

Bring any previous psychological testing records and/or relevant medical records with you.

Do not consume caffeine or take any stimulant medication the day of, or night before, the scheduled appointment.

Try to get a good night sleep and eat before your appointment.
What can I expect from the testing process?
Intake appointment:
At this appointment, you will meet with Dr. Pentzien virtually or in-person to complete a comprehensive intake and diagnostic interview. During this 90 minute appointment, she will review the information provided in your paperwork, gather further needed information, and prepare you for the testing process.
Testing appointment:
At this appointment, you will begin the testing process with Dr. Pentzien which typically includes answering questions, solving puzzles, doing academic tasks, completing computer tasks, and completing questionnaires. Depending on the reason for the assessment, the testing process can take between 4 - 12 hours. Testing appointments are typically scheduled as 3 - 4 hour sessions and take place across multiple days if needed.
Feedback appointment:
After the testing is completed, you will be scheduled for a feedback appointment. At the feedback appointment, Dr. Pentzien will meet with you to review your testing report, including the testing data, any diagnoses, and recommendations. Within one week after the feedback appointment you will be provided with a completed copy of the report.
What ages do you work with?
Dr. Pentzien works with clients from age 6 to 50.
Is the testing done virtually or in person?
While our initial intake appointment can be conducted virtually or in person, portions of the testing do need to be done in person at our offices.
What is your cancellation policy?
All appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are subject to the full session fee.
